Job Overview: A well-established law firm, located in Omaha, NE, is looking to add an experienced Litigation Attorney to its team. Duties:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and trials.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Manage litigation cases from inception to resolution, ensuring adherence to deadlines and case strategies.
• Provide clients with advice and updates regarding case progress and legal options.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to formulate case strategies and develop solutions.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and ensure all legal avenues are explored.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in personal injury law.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Licensed to practice law in Nebraska and/or Iowa.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Nebraska and/or Iowa State Bar.
