Class Action Attorney

A law firm seeks a motivated and skilled Class Action Attorney to join its litigation team in Burbank, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with experience in employment law class actions to take on a range of responsibilities in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Duties:

• Manage a docket of class action cases, ensuring efficient case progression.
• Draft pleadings, motions, mediation briefs, and settlement agreements for class action lawsuits.
• Conduct discovery, including written discovery and depositions.
• Communicate with clients and potential clients to provide updates and legal advice.
• Perform in-depth legal research to support case strategies.
• Work closely with the Class Action department staff to develop case strategies and provide legal support.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment law class action cases.
• Strong knowledge of the California Labor Code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Must be in good standing with the California State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.

• Proficient in drafting legal documents, including motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
