Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in San Diego, CA is currently seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its legal team. This boutique firm specializes in providing legal counsel to community associations, focusing on corporate governance, assessment collections, and litigation. The successful candidate will work closely with association board members and property managers, draft legal correspondence, attend court hearings, and handle various aspects of litigation.

Duties:

• Provide corporate legal counsel, focusing on community association law.
• Manage assessment collections and handle association governance issues.
• Engage with association board members and property managers.
• Draft legal correspondence and related documentation.
• Attend and represent the firm at court hearings.
• Involvement in litigation from inception to conclusion.
• Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of legal experience (community association law experience is a plus but not required).
• Must be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• Strong writing, communication, and time management skills.
• A strong interest in learning and working in this area of law.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.

Certifications:

• Active California Bar License.
