A law firm in Riverside, CA is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience, preferably in employment law. The ideal candidate will defend and litigate lawsuits, advise and counsel employers on employment law matters, and represent clients in various forums.

 

Duties:

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges
  • Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues
  • Represent employers in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediations in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases
  • Possess Class Action/PAGA experience (preferred but not required)
  • Maintain excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ensure attention to detail and commitment to excellence in all tasks
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
  • Uphold professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork within the firm

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Current admission to the California Bar in good standing
  • 4-6 years of experience, with a background in employment law strongly preferred
  • Understanding of current agency procedures at the state and federal levels
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills

 

Education:

Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Current admission to the California Bar in good standing
