Duties

  • Manage civil litigation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Independently handle a caseload of litigation matters, including case preparation, discovery, motions, and trial.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and strategy recommendations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and contribute to team success.
  • Assist with business development and client marketing efforts.
  • Travel as required for client meetings, depositions, and court appearances.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in Arizona.
  • At least 4 years of experience in civil litigation defense, preferably in Arizona.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in legal research and writing, with a focus on litigation matters.
  • A high level of independence in managing case files and work responsibilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed for litigation matters.
  • Trial experience is preferred but not required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Arizona State Bar license (required).
