Job Overview:

A prominent law firm located in Toledo, OH, is seeking an experienced and driven Personal Injury Attorney to manage a diverse docket of cases within a fast-paced legal environment. This position requires handling personal injury claims from inception through resolution, including negotiation and supervision of support staff, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Duties:

• Investigate and analyze case facts to build strong evidence for damages.
• Handle all aspects of case settlements, including negotiation and lien resolution.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, opposing attorneys, court staff, and insurance representatives.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve the law firm's objectives.
• Supervise and guide support staff.
• Ensure compliance with all ethical and legal standards of practice.

Requirements:

• Must be admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio.
• 2-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, either as a plaintiff or defense attorney.
• A strong background in insurance defense or claims handling is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Familiarity with case management software, preferably Needles.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Ohio Bar membership.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
