The candidate should hold a JD from an accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials, and either current Massachusetts Bar admission or the ability to obtain admission, with admission in ME, RI, or VT considered a plus.

Job Overview:

The Employment Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for defending and litigating lawsuits involving employment-related claims, providing pre-litigation and litigation avoidance advice to clients, and representing employers in various legal proceedings. The role will also involve acting as a business partner to clients on employment law issues.

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in court, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and various employment-related cases.
• Provide pre-litigation and litigation avoidance advice to clients, offering strategic guidance to meet client's employee retention and recruitment goals.
• Act as a business partner to clients, providing legal advice and guidance on employment law issues.
• Demonstrate an understanding of current agency procedures at both state and federal levels.
• Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Pay attention to detail and maintain a commitment to excellence.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
