Associate Attorney - Construction Litigation

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its dynamic construction litigation team in Orlando, FL. The successful candidate will support a thriving practice by engaging in various litigation activities, including depositions and motion practice while handling diverse construction-related legal matters.

Duties

• Assist in the management of construction litigation cases, including defect litigation, collections, and lien/bond claims.
• Conduct depositions and participate actively in motion practice.
• Perform legal research and drafting of legal briefs and documents.
• Provide representation for both private clients and carriers/insured entities.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop effective legal strategies and solutions.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 to 8 years of experience in litigation is preferred.
• Strong work ethic, confidence, and excellent writing skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload.
• Admission to the Florida Bar is required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
