Workers Compensation Attorney

A law firm seeking a Workers Compensation Attorney in Springfield, IL. The Workers Compensation Attorney will manage a workers' compensation defense caseload independently. They will be responsible for successfully trying cases, conducting depositions and mediations, building and maintaining client relationships, participating in firm marketing and business development opportunities, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Duties:

• Manage a workers' compensation defense caseload independently.
• Successfully try cases, conduct depositions, and mediations.
• Establish, build, and maintain relationships with all assigned clients.
• Participate in marketing and business development opportunities within the firm.
• Engage in a collaborative team atmosphere.
• Utilize available technology to manage clients effectively and efficiently within a paperless work environment.

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing in Illinois.
• Licensing in multiple states is desired but not necessary.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Collaborative and committed to working as part of a team.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
