Junior Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a motivated Junior Litigator to join its team in New York City, NY. This position is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 2-4 years of business litigation experience in state and federal courts, including a focus on securities arbitration. Duties

• Handle a caseload of business litigation matters in state and federal courts.
• Participate in securities arbitration, including regulatory inquiries and investigations.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft high-quality legal documents.
• Engage in oral arguments and represent clients in depositions, with opportunities for first or second chair experience.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to case strategy and development.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in business litigation within state and/or federal courts.
• Familiarity with securities arbitration is a plus.
• Demonstrated excellence in writing and research skills.
• Experience in oral argument is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage a personal caseload effectively as a self-starter.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
