Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Walnut Creek is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 2-5 years of experience and membership in the California Bar. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in drafting complex pleadings, conducting legal research and analysis, and handling discovery in high-stakes actions.

Duties:

• Draft complex pleadings, including complaints, answers, motions, and discovery requests and responses.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on a variety of legal issues.
• Handle all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admissions.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documents.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of litigation experience.
• Proficiency in drafting complex pleadings and conducting legal research and analysis.
• Ability to handle discovery in high-stakes actions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strategic thinker with a solid commitment to representing clients diligently.

Certifications:

Membership in the California Bar.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
