Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a skilled and driven Defense Litigation Attorney to join their St. Louis office. This hybrid position (with at least one day per week in-office) provides an exciting opportunity for an attorney with 1-3 years of experience in litigation. Ideal candidates will bring hands-on experience in managing cases from inception to resolution, with a focus on product liability, toxic torts, or general liability. The role involves working collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Duties:

• Manage and handle defense litigation cases from start to finish.
• Represent clients in product liability, toxic tort, and general liability matters.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and external parties.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare for trial.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as required.
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on litigation strategies.
• Maintain detailed case files and ensure timely reporting and communication with clients.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of defense litigation experience, particularly in product liability, toxic tort, or general liability.
• Experience managing cases from inception through resolution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Missouri or Illinois.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in Missouri or Illinois.
