Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced and highly motivated attorney to join a dynamic insurance defense practice. Duties:

  • Handle a caseload focused on insurance defense, personal injury litigation, fraud investigation, and fraud litigation.
  • Represent clients in various aspects of tort and insurance defense litigation, including personal injury, commercial and personal automobile, and property casualty.
  • Manage the preparation, filing, and litigation of cases, including motions, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Investigate and prosecute insurance fraud claims, including claims involving bad faith and unfair claims handling practices.
  • Engage in personal injury protection (PIP) litigation and declaratory judgment actions.
  • Assist in civil recovery suits against medical providers, auto body shops, towing facilities, and other entities.
  • Provide clear and timely communication with clients, ensuring they are well-informed throughout the litigation process.
  • Maintain efficient case management while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in litigation, particularly in personal injury defense or insurance-related matters.
  • Ability to handle complex cases with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of insurance fraud investigation and related litigation strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and hybrid work environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar License (Required).

Skills:

  • Strong background in insurance defense and personal injury litigation.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Proficiency in case management and the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
