Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a highly motivated Workers' Compensation Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience in handling Workers' Compensation and Employers' Liability cases. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense, workers' compensation, and/or personal injury law.

Duties:

• Manage a high volume of workers' compensation defense cases.
• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in workers' compensation and employer liability matters.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and communicate effectively with clients.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and other proceedings related to workers' compensation claims.
• Work independently and collaborate with a legal team to meet case deadlines and objectives.
• Organize and prioritize tasks efficiently to handle multiple cases simultaneously.

Requirements:

• Bar admission in Maryland (MD) and Pennsylvania (PA).
• 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation defense law.
• Knowledge of MD and PA workers' compensation laws and regulations.
• Prior experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury law preferred.
• Licensure in other states, including Delaware (DE), Washington, D.C. (DC), Virginia (VA), or West Virginia (WV), is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the MD and PA bar associations.
• Licenses in other jurisdictions are advantageous but not required.

Job Location:

• Baltimore, MD (Hybrid/Remote options available with in-office presence required 3 days per week).
