Job Overview: A law firm based in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join its legal team. This position involves managing family law cases, representing clients in court, developing legal agreements, and ensuring that client relationships are nurtured and maintained. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, demonstrate excellent negotiation and courtroom skills, and be able to offer superior client service. The attorney must be licensed to practice in North Carolina.

Duties:

• Manage and represent clients in family law matters, including legal disputes and negotiations.
• Develop, draft, and review legal documents, such as agreements and contracts.
• Advocate on behalf of clients in family law cases in a court setting.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing ongoing legal support and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with family law regulations and provide strategic legal advice.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes when applicable.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
• Prior experience in family law is preferred.
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in North Carolina.

• Expertise in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and child support.
• Proficient in legal research and case management.
