A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Debt Finance Associate Attorney in Reston, VA.

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Debt Finance Associate Attorney will primarily focus on handling upmarket bilateral, syndicated, and sponsor-backed deals for banks and private credit funds. This role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and stakeholders effectively.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce high-quality written work products, including drafting documents, client communications, and legal opinions.
• Manage and respond to client inquiries and correspondence promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all work products meet firm standards for accuracy and completeness.
• Adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively to prioritize tasks.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Adhere to firm policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in various activities, including computer work, virtual meetings, and occasional travel as necessary.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience handling upmarket bilateral, syndicated, and sponsor-backed deals for banks and private credit funds.
• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in VA.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Attention to detail and good business judgment.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Research and problem-solving capabilities.
• Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others.
• Persuasive communication skills.
• Management skills preferred.

Education and Certifications:
