The associate will be a key member of a commercial real estate finance team, responsible for drafting loan documents, conducting due diligence, updating closing checklists, and reviewing title, survey, and organizational documents. This role is ideal for candidates with experience representing bank and non-bank lenders and who possess strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Duties:

  • Draft loan documents for commercial real estate finance transactions.
  • Perform due diligence, including reviewing title, survey, and organizational documents.
  • Keep closing checklists up-to-date and manage transactional processes.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure smooth transaction closings.
  • Conduct legal research and provide analytical support on real estate finance matters.
  • Assist in various aspects of commercial real estate finance, representing both bank and non-bank lenders.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of meaningful experience in commercial real estate finance.
  • Experience representing bank and/or non-bank lenders.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Admission to and good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.
