Job Overview:
A prestigious regional law firm is seeking a Restructuring, Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Associate to join its dynamic practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience handling complex bankruptcy matters or judicial clerkship experience. This role offers an opportunity to work on a broad range of restructuring and bankruptcy cases across multiple industries, providing clients with strategic legal advice.

Location:

Duties:

  • Manage and support complex bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditors' rights cases.
  • Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and bankruptcy-related agreements.
  • Provide legal advice to clients on a variety of restructuring and bankruptcy matters.
  • Conduct detailed legal research and prepare memoranda to support case strategies.
  • Represent clients at court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Assist in managing client relationships and provide updates on case developments.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to ensure timely and effective case management.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in bankruptcy law or judicial clerkship experience.
  • Licensed to practice law in New York State or Connecticut.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex cases and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in New York State or Connecticut.
