Job Overview

A San Francisco-based family law firm is seeking an experienced and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join its team. This position involves working on high-conflict, high-asset family law cases and requires excellent legal research, writing, and client communication skills. This is a hybrid position with a minimum in-office presence of three days per week.

Duties

• Manage a caseload involving complex and high-asset family law matters

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including hearings and trials

• Maintain clear and timely communication with clients

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and case strategy documents

• Collaborate with team members and support staff on case management

• Utilize legal technology tools and adapt quickly to new software systems

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience practicing family law

• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently

• Prior experience with court hearings and trials is strongly preferred

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-expectation legal environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar (required)
