The candidate will collaborate with a team of attorneys to assist clients, particularly in the medical device sector, providing expertise in mechanical, electrical, or biomedical fields.

Duties:

• Collaborate with attorneys to manage U.S. and international patent portfolios.
• Draft and prosecute patent applications across various industries.
• Conduct due diligence investigations.
• Perform freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses for clients.
• Provide technical insight in mechanical, electrical, biomedical, or related fields.
• Assist clients in identifying patent opportunities and finding solutions to protect intellectual property.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in patent drafting.
• Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, biomedical, or related fields is preferred.

Education:

• An undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science is required.

Certifications:

• Registration to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is strongly preferred.
