A law firm based in Dallas, TX is seeking a driven Associate with experience in immigration matters to join a collaborative legal team. The role involves direct client engagement, case strategy, and coordination with paralegals and attorneys focused on achieving favorable outcomes.

Duties:

• Manage a high-volume caseload involving consular processing and waivers, including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, and K-visa petitions

• Represent clients in USCIS interviews and proceedings

• Conduct client consultations and provide strategic legal guidance

• Review and finalize case packets and immigration filings

• Oversee a team of paralegals and assist in ensuring case deadlines and productivity benchmarks are met

• Draft legal memoranda and briefs supporting various immigration claims

• Prepare clients for consular interviews and guide them throughout the process

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-4 years of hands-on experience in immigration law

• Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload independently

• Strong organizational and case management skills

• Effective communicator with both clients and legal staff

• Spanish language proficiency is highly desirable

• Prior experience with consular processing and waiver applications

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in good standing required

Skills:

• Solid grasp of immigration statutes, forms, and procedural nuances

• Proficiency with legal case management software preferred

• Capacity to supervise and motivate support staff

• Analytical thinker with strong legal writing and research capabilities
