A reputable law firm in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney with a strong focus on EOIR (Executive Office for Immigration Review) proceedings. This role is ideal for a legal professional with a proven background in removal defense, client advocacy, and managing paralegal support teams. Duties

  • Represent detained and non-detained individuals in removal proceedings before Immigration Court, USCIS, and the Board of Immigration Appeals

  • Prepare and file a variety of defensive immigration applications, including I-589, 42A, 42B, I-485, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), and Prosecutorial Discretion (PD) requests

  • Review and file USCIS applications such as I-130, I-601A, and U Visa petitions

  • Conduct strategy meetings and provide legal analysis for individual client cases

  • Prepare and submit legal briefs and documentation for immigration cases

  • Supervise and coordinate work with a team of paralegals to ensure timely and accurate case processing

  • Provide updates and legal education on immigration changes to clients and staff

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience practicing immigration law

  • Demonstrated expertise in EOIR, removal defense, and family-based immigration matters

  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail

  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills within a legal team

  • Experience working with detained individuals and humanitarian relief cases

  • Familiarity with USCIS procedures and filings

  • Case management software experience preferred

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. state (in good standing)
