The ideal candidate will support various legal matters, including landlord/tenant disputes, civil litigation, contract law, and real estate. Duties:

  • Assist in handling landlord/tenant disputes and other related matters.
  • Support contract, real estate, and civil litigation cases.
  • Provide legal research and draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and contracts.
  • Represent clients in court and during hearings.
  • Effectively collaborate within a team setting.
  • Manage multiple cases while ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Interact with clients and provide legal advice and updates.

Requirements:

  • Must be a member of the Oregon State Bar or in the process of obtaining admission.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Washington State Bar admission is beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable in a courtroom setting.
  • Client-focused approach with excellent communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Oregon State Bar membership (required).
  • Washington State Bar membership (preferred, not required).
