Duties:

• Manage client cases, including drafting and responding to correspondence, discovery, pleadings, and motions
• Represent clients in various proceedings, such as mediation, pretrial hearings, temporary hearings, motion hearings, and trials
• Conduct client meetings, providing legal strategies and managing client expectations
• Delegate tasks to paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring quality and timeliness
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members to resolve cases efficiently
• Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on their behalf

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia and in good standing with the Georgia Bar
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, with family law and probate experience a plus but not required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Georgia
