Mid-Level Structured Finance Associate

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm in Washington, D.C. is seeking highly skilled mid-level associates to join its Structured Finance practice. The ideal candidates will have experience in securitization, particularly in CLOs, asset-based loans, and/or REMICs. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex financial transactions effectively.

Location:

Duties:

• Advise clients on securitization transactions, including CLOs, asset-based loans, and REMICs.

• Structure, draft, and negotiate transaction documents.

• Provide counsel on regulatory compliance related to structured finance.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate deal execution.

• Stay updated on legal and market trends impacting structured finance.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in structured finance and securitization.

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
