Job Overview:

The Civil Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling civil litigation matters, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, conducting discovery, representing clients in court proceedings, and providing legal advice and counsel.

 

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on case law, statutes, and regulations.
  • Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, taking depositions, and preparing witnesses.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members on case strategy and client representation.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to case management.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar admission in the state of Florida.
  • Experience practicing civil litigation.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Education and Certifications:
