Mid-level Litigation Associate

A law firm seeks a talented and motivated Mid-level Litigation Associate to join its dynamic team in Atlanta, GA. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced litigation practice, handling a variety of complex cases and legal challenges. The successful candidate will have 2-4 years of litigation experience and be prepared to contribute to a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Duties:

• Draft and file legal motions and briefs, including motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and motions in limine.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Take and defend depositions, providing critical insights for case strategy.
• Manage the discovery process for complex litigation matters.
• Prepare cases for trial, including organizing evidence and coordinating witness testimony.
• Participate in evidentiary hearings and assist with trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
• Work closely with senior attorneys to refine case strategies and improve outcomes.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in litigation, preferably within a fast-paced legal environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Proven experience researching, drafting motions, and handling discovery in complex cases.
• Familiarity with depositions and trial preparation.
• Hands-on experience in handling evidentiary hearings and/or trial work.
• Ability to collaborate in a team-based setting while demonstrating initiative and independence.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• An active Georgia Bar License is required.
