Duties:

  • Draft sophisticated legal documents such as irrevocable trusts, family limited partnerships, charitable trusts, and more.
  • Oversee estate and trust administration, including probate proceedings and fiduciary accountings, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage complex guardianship and conservatorship matters, including court filings and ongoing compliance.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on a wide range of estate planning matters.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide leadership through workshops and training seminars.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, financial advisors, CPAs, and other professionals involved in the estate planning process.
  • Communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to clients, ensuring they are fully informed and empowered throughout the process.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Arizona (Active Arizona Bar membership required).
  • Proven experience in handling complex estate planning, tax planning, and trust administration matters.
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced estate planning strategies, including ILITs, SLATs, charitable lead annuity trusts, and business succession planning.
  • Experience working with entrepreneurial families and closely held businesses.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with legal technology and case management software to streamline processes and enhance client service.
  • Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Arizona State Bar.
