Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 0-2 years of litigation experience to join its Casualty Litigation Department in the Allentown, PA office. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and experience in casualty liability matters. Location:

Duties:

  • Handle casualty litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials as needed.
  • Assist senior attorneys with case management and strategy development.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients under the supervision of senior attorneys.
  • Contribute to settlement negotiations and dispute resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely billing for billable hours.

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of experience in litigation, preferably in casualty liability.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is required; New Jersey Bar is preferred.
  • Strong academic background with excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic performance required.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (required).
  • New Jersey Bar (preferred).

  • Litigation experience, preferably in casualty liability matters.
  • Strong research, writing, and legal analysis skills.
