A well-established law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its commercial litigation group in the Miami office. Location

Duties

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters

• Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings

• Take and defend depositions

• Draft substantive motions, including dispositive, expert, and discovery motions

• Engage in client counseling and strategy development

• Work collaboratively with a team of experienced litigators

• Support litigation matters involving financial regulations (FINRA experience is a plus)

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in business litigation

• Strong litigation and courtroom experience

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively

• Excellent legal research and writing skills

• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar in good standing

Skills

• Proficiency in legal research and analysis

• Strong drafting and communication abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Native or fluent bilingual proficiency in Spanish

• Experience handling financial regulatory matters (preferred but not required)
