Duties

  • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, with a focus on copyright, IP licensing, and tech transactions.
  • Engage in entertainment deals and provide guidance on legal issues within the music and content industries.
  • Ensure compliance with copyright and intellectual property regulations while protecting clients’ rights.
  • Handle sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information with the utmost discretion.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to support complex transactional matters in connectivity and privacy law.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Experience in copyright law, IP licensing, tech transactions, or entertainment deals.
  • Familiarity with the music, entertainment, or content industries is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to negotiate complex legal agreements.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the relevant state bar or eligibility for admission.
