Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney for their Minneapolis, MN, office.

Job Overview:

The Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney will primarily focus on handling complex commercial litigation cases, including product liability matters within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. They will assist in all aspects of litigation, from case strategy development to drafting pleadings and motions and conducting depositions.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and third parties.
• Supervise junior associates and delegate tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with experts and consultants on case-related matters.
• Assist development through legal research and analysis.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Participate in developing case strategies and tactics.

Requirements:

• 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Minnesota.

Education and Certifications:

• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized institution.
• Additional degrees such as MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology are beneficial.
