Duties

  • Review and coordinate preparation of comments for third-party participant agreements related to music compositions and recordings
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including producer, mixer, featured artist, songwriter, and certificates of recording
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, consultants, and professionals on intellectual property matters
  • Develop and apply strategic thinking in the areas of music rights, copyright law, and entertainment agreements

Requirements

  • Basic experience or demonstrated interest in the music industry or related fields (e.g., corporate law or intellectual property)
  • Strong initiative and a proactive approach to solving problems and seizing opportunities
  • Commitment to excellence in client service and legal work
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
