Job Overview:
A dynamic and reputable law firm is seeking an experienced corporate transactional attorney to join their team in Lake Oswego. The firm focuses on delivering high-quality services to a diverse and innovative client base, including start-ups, private companies, and entrepreneurs. This role offers the opportunity to handle a wide variety of corporate transactional work, such as mergers & acquisitions (M&A), venture capital, financing, private placements, entity formation, and general corporate counsel. Duties:

  • Provide corporate transactional legal services, including M&A, financings, entity formation, and private placements
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and agreements
  • Advise clients on business structure, governance, and regulatory compliance
  • Support clients in venture capital transactions, private equity, and other corporate matters
  • Collaborate with other legal teams to ensure comprehensive solutions to client needs
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional legal advice

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of corporate transactional legal experience
  • Valid state Bar license (active)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple complex matters efficiently
  • Team-oriented with a focus on delivering results
  • Demonstrated ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active state Bar membership (must be in good standing)
