Duties:

  • Represent clients in high-stakes mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions.
  • Draft and review a wide variety of legal documents, including agreements, contracts, and transactional reports.
  • Conduct due diligence and assist in structuring, negotiating, and finalizing transactions.
  • Advise clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and other legal matters related to business operations.
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to develop effective legal strategies.
  • Handle complex corporate transactions from inception through to execution, ensuring all aspects are compliant with legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in corporate law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and private equity.
  • Proven track record of success in managing complex transactions and providing strategic legal advice.
  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to think critically and handle multiple, high-priority matters simultaneously.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Florida Bar admission or eligibility to promptly obtain admission upon hire.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and with clients.
