  • Conduct legal research and analysis on federal energy regulatory issues.
  • Prepare filings, documentation, and reports for compliance and regulatory proceedings.
  • Collaborate with a team on strategy development for regulatory compliance, litigation, and transactional matters.
  • Engage in client communications, providing updates and support on regulatory issues.

Requirements

  • Exposure to federal energy regulatory laws, particularly those affecting the natural gas, oil, or electric power industries.
  • Interest in developing detailed expertise in FERC and Department of Energy compliance, enforcement, and litigation.
  • Strong academic credentials and professional background.
  • Admission to practice law in Washington, D.C.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
