Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking a Trusts & Estates Associate with 6-9 years of experience in sophisticated estate planning and trust matters. The role involves advising high-net-worth individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and corporate trust departments on estate and trust administration, as well as multi-generational wealth preservation strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong client relationship management skills and have a proven track record of providing comprehensive, strategic solutions across a range of estate planning issues, including cross-border matters.

Duties:

  • Advise clients on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and related legal matters.

  • Work with high-net-worth individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and corporate trust departments.

  • Develop and implement multi-generational wealth preservation strategies tailored to client needs.

  • Collaborate with other practice areas to deliver holistic legal solutions for clients.

  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships by providing excellent service and communication.

Requirements:

  • 6-9 years of experience in estate planning and trust matters.

  • Proven track record of working with high-net-worth clients and understanding their unique needs.

  • Experience in cross-border estate planning is a plus.

  • Ability to collaborate across practice areas to offer comprehensive solutions.

  • Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to independently manage complex client matters.

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills:

  • Expertise in estate planning, estate administration, and trust law.

  • Strong experience with high-net-worth clients and corporate entities.

  • Ability to develop effective wealth preservation strategies for multi-generational planning.
