Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a skilled mid-level associate attorney to join its Restructuring and Insolvency practice. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience handling corporate and commercial restructurings, loan workouts, bankruptcy litigation, and other insolvency-related matters. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex cases, including Chapter 11 proceedings and distressed transactions while working closely with a collaborative team of professionals.

Duties:

• Manage corporate and commercial restructuring matters, including Chapter 11 cases and bankruptcy litigation
• Oversee loan workouts and advise on distressed transactions
• Represent clients in insolvency proceedings and lender remedies in state and federal courts
• Draft loan and security documents related to distressed transactions
• Collaborate with a team to handle multiple cases concurrently
• Provide legal analysis and strategic counsel to clients navigating insolvency challenges

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in restructuring, insolvency, or bankruptcy law
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Experience with lender remedies and drafting related documentation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas

Skills:
