Associate Attorney needed for Coral Gables office

A law firm in Coral Gables, FL, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will be licensed by and in good standing with the Florida Bar and will preferably have admission to the Southern, Middle, and Northern United States District Courts of Florida. This role involves managing the litigation of numerous collection cases throughout the state, as well as participating in both virtual and in-person court appearances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Litigate numerous collection cases across Florida.
• Represent clients in virtual and in-person court appearances.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Develop case strategies and advise clients on legal matters.
• Negotiate settlements and manage case files from inception to resolution.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations pertinent to the practice.

Requirements:

• Licensed by and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Admission to the Southern, Middle, and Northern United States District Courts of Florida preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume law practice.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Education:

Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.
• Admission to the Southern, Middle, and Northern United States District Courts of Florida preferred.
