Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a skilled Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta, Georgia office. Duties

• Represent clients in workers' compensation matters, including pre-hearing, hearing, and post-hearing procedures.
• Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
• Provide legal advice to clients regarding workers' compensation claims and strategies.
• Analyze medical records, evidence, and depositions to determine case strength.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations to advocate for clients.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in litigation as needed.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop case strategies and solutions.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Stay current with developments in workers' compensation law and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law or relevant practice areas.
• Licensing: Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia.
• Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively in legal settings.
• Analytical Ability: Ability to analyze complex legal and medical information to assess case viability.
