Associate Attorney with 2-8 years of employment law and/or litigation experience

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-8 years of employment law and/or litigation experience to join its Employment Law team. This role involves providing expert legal counsel on employment law matters and actively participating in employment litigation defense. Location:

Duties:

• Provide employment law advice and counsel to small and medium-sized businesses.
• Participate in all aspects of employment law litigation defense, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Argue motions and contribute to the overall strategy of cases from inception to completion.
• Conduct legal research and analyze employment law issues.
• Take depositions, engage in negotiations, and manage case files.
• Network and participate in marketing efforts to grow the firm's client base.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver effective legal solutions.
• Stay informed about changes in employment law and workplace regulations.

Requirements:

• 2-8 years of experience in employment law and/or litigation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong analytical, data-driven, and forward-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Executive presence with strong leadership capabilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar is required.
