Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury matters, advocating on their behalf through all stages of litigation.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including bills of particulars, pleadings, discovery, motions, and appellate briefs.
• Conduct legal research and provide detailed analysis of case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage a caseload, ensuring all deadlines are met and clients are updated regularly on case progress.
• Supervise and mentor paralegals and junior attorneys, providing guidance and training as necessary.
• Collaborate with the legal team to strategize and execute case plans.
• Negotiate settlements and handle trial preparation when required.

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing personal injury law.
• Proven ability to draft and manage legal documentation in personal injury cases.
• Strong legal writing and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Experience with case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to supervise and support junior staff in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
