Duties

  • Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Advise clients on estate planning, probate, and estate and trust administration.
  • Conduct one-on-one consultations with clients to explain options and help them make informed decisions.
  • Present educational workshops on estate planning topics for clients and the community.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to prepare legal documents and manage filings.
  • Ensure all client files are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Stay informed about changes in estate planning laws and regulations to provide the best advice.
  • Work with team members to maintain high standards of service and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and estate administration.
  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina (active and in good standing).
  • Strong ability to explain complex legal concepts in simple, clear terms.
  • Impeccable organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Education
