Job Overview:
A law firm located in Bend, OR, is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney with 5+ years of experience in domestic relations. Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and representation in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and property division.
  • Manage client matters independently, from intake through to closing letters.
  • Supervise and manage support staff, ensuring efficient case management and client service.
  • Provide superior customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Assist with business development and contribute to the continued growth of the firm.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff as needed for case strategy and development.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct in all interactions.
  • Participate in firm-wide meetings and events as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in family law and domestic relations.
  • Proven ability to manage cases independently from intake to resolution.
  • Experience with family law-related issues, including divorce, custody, support, and asset division.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience with managing or contributing to the management of a law practice is a plus.
  • Prior self-employment or legal practice management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A client-centered approach to legal representation.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Oregon State Bar.
