Senior Associate Attorney

A law firm in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a skilled Senior Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will work closely with insurance carriers and clients to provide superior customer service and legal advice. This role requires a strong background in litigation defense and the ability to manage cases independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with insurance carriers and clients to provide superior customer service and legal advice.
• Manage all aspects of litigation defense, including case evaluation, strategy development, and execution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and stay up to date on relevant laws and regulations.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Provide clear and concise legal advice to clients, ensuring they understand their rights and options.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff within the firm to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of case activities and communications.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Arizona Bar is required; candidates admitted in other jurisdictions will be considered if an Arizona Bar license can be obtained.
• A minimum of 1 year and up to 10 years of experience in litigation defense.
• Strong understanding of litigation processes and defense strategies.
