Duties:

• Represent clients in workers' compensation cases, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of claims
• Advise clients on legal matters related to workers' compensation law and benefits
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, and briefs
• Manage a caseload of workers' compensation cases, ensuring adherence to deadlines and procedures
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in hearings, depositions, and trials
• Maintain thorough and organized client records
• Provide ongoing legal counsel to clients, ensuring they understand their rights and options
• Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to deliver effective client services

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in Ohio
• Experience in workers' compensation law preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and effectively
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Client-focused approach with a strong commitment to advocating for injured workers

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Ohio Bar

Skills:

• Knowledge of Ohio workers' compensation laws and procedures (preferred)

• Proven ability to handle a caseload and meet deadlines
