Family Law Trial Attorney

Job Overview:
A growing family law firm based in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Family Law Trial Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in family law litigation and be highly motivated to represent clients in high-stakes family law cases, including complex divorces, custody matters, and high-net-worth estates. Duties:

• Client Engagement: Consult with potential clients and sign new clients. Manage cases from start to finish while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
• Trial Preparation & Advocacy: Handle all aspects of family law litigation, including trial preparation, discovery, and witness preparation.
• Lead Case Management: Oversee a caseload, maintain communication with clients, and collaborate with a team of legal professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
• New Client Acquisition: Contribute to the growth of the firm by securing new clients, supported by the firm's lead generation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with legal team members to handle case strategy, document preparation, and client interaction.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of family law litigation experience required.
• Skills: Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful with the ability to manage a heavy caseload. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Professionalism: Excellent communication skills with the ability to present cases persuasively in court.
• Client-Focused: Strong desire to provide exceptional client service and satisfaction.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active State Bar License in Texas (or eligibility to obtain one)

Skills:

• Strong trial advocacy and litigation skills
• Expertise in all phases of family law litigation, including discovery, witness preparation, and trial
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Client relationship management and business development
