A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Corporate Attorney or Partner-level attorney to join its dynamic team. This remote position is based in Orange County, CA, and offers the opportunity to work with a team of skilled professionals specializing in corporate law and M&A transactions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, business contracts, and investor financing. This role allows for significant client interaction and management of complex corporate transactions.

Duties:

  • Lead M&A transactions and provide counsel to clients on corporate governance, contract negotiations, and investor financing.
  • Manage day-to-day legal needs for clients, guiding them through various corporate matters.
  • Provide strategic legal advice on complex corporate deals and ensure legal compliance across various industries.
  • Foster strong client relationships by offering personalized attention and handling sensitive corporate issues.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and support clients through the full lifecycle of their business transactions.
  • For Partner candidates: Take a lead role in business development and firm growth initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate law, particularly mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, and business contracts.
  • Strong expertise in corporate transactional matters and client relationship management.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
  • Proven ability to handle high-level corporate transactions and lead client interactions.
  • Preferred: Reside in California, with experience in both remote and in-office corporate environments.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in the state of California.

Skills:

  • Extensive experience in M&A, business contracts, and corporate governance.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage complex transactions.
  • Ability to independently manage client relationships and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
