The successful candidate will support clients by managing trademark portfolios, conducting trademark searches, assessing risks, handling prosecution and enforcement, and navigating the U.S. Trademark Office processes. This role also involves advising clients on complex legal and business issues related to domestic and foreign marks.

Duties:

  • Assist in trademark and copyright-related activities for various business segments.
  • Conduct trademark searches, provide risk assessments, and advise on trademark-related matters.
  • Manage trademark prosecution and maintenance, ensuring timely filings and compliance.
  • Handle trademark enforcement matters, including disputes and litigation.
  • Advise clients on the management of both domestic and foreign trademark portfolios.
  • Navigate U.S. Trademark Office processes to secure trademark registrations efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other legal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in trademark and copyright law.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other practice areas to provide integrated legal solutions.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar (relevant jurisdiction).
