A law firm seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its team in Oklahoma City, OK. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience handling civil litigation cases in both state and federal courts. Duties:

  • Represent clients in civil litigation cases in both state and federal courts.
  • Manage a caseload, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and provide clear, effective written and oral legal analysis.
  • Communicate directly with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and strategies.
  • Negotiate settlements and engage in mediation as needed.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure timely completion of all legal tasks.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management.
  • Work on a variety of cases, ensuring high standards of client service and legal representation.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience, with experience in state and federal courts.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, LexisNexis, and other legal software.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships with a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Oklahoma and good standing with the Oklahoma Bar Association.

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong organizational abilities and multitasking capabilities.
  • Client management and interpersonal skills.
